RELEASE BLITZ & REVIEW - Falling for the Enemy by C.M. Steele

Title: Falling for the Enemy
Author: C.M. Steele
Genre: Erotic Romance
Release Date: September 15, 2017

Layla Hendricks has lived a life free of worry since her older brother sacrificed his freedom and youth to care for her. Now in her first year of college, Layla tries to make him proud. That is until she makes a big mistake. It leaves her heartbroken and ashamed. She betrayed her big brother.

John Moriarty just happened to find the woman of his dreams while walking down one of New York City’s busy streets. He knows she a lot younger than him, but he knew that nothing compared to the way she made him feel. Everything was great until he landed back home in Chicago. Then the woman he wanted to be his wife vanished into thin air, leaving him determined to find her and tell him why she pulled a runner.

When he finds her at dinner with his biggest rival, nothing will stop him from taking back what’s his. Not even if she’s carrying his sleazy, man-whore enemy’s baby.

This is a quick read, definitely one that falls under the "insta-love" category. I don't mind an older/younger romance, although I do prefer for both people to be at least over the age of 21, it comes across as more realistic (but that's my opinion). I wish this book was longer simply to get more character development and a more natural build to the relationship between John and Layla. Although any relationship they could possibly get into is threatened once Layla's brother Nate discovers who Layla has been dating, so that is the angsty part of the story. The adult times between John and Layla are pretty hot, and I liked how the story played out for Layla and John.

C.M. Steele is a thirty-something year old mother and wife who spends her days dreaming up stories. She loves reading and writing and hopes to do so as long as she can. Her love for safe, sweet insta-romances and extremely alpha men is why she writes. Her men are her fantasies of perfection. C.M. hopes they’re yours as well.
